This woman amazes me! She has had so many wonderful adventures and has been such a success. It amazes me that she has been to three colleges, served under Clinton and became the first female dean of Harvard. Her successes are to be admired!

While Elena has only begun her service in this nation’s high court I think that it is important to note the qualifications that she has. She has been in the private sector, the political arena, and even in the educational sector. She comes with such wonderful recommendations and passed the hearings with flying colors in August. I wish her all the best as her journey continues!

Another woman placed by this president. It seems as if the balance is tipping in a way that would make this nation suffer. I pray that Ms. Kagan makes decisions that are lawful rather then those made on an emotional windfall.

It is wonderful that another woman has made it into a man’s world. I think that if anyone is qualified it is Elana. She has shown us as a nation time and time again that she is willing to serve and fight to uphold our constitution. I know that she will be a wonderful addition.

I am so pleased that Obama chose Elana Kagan as the next Justice. The balance is so often in favor of the conservatives in this nation. Kagan is a liberal at heart and will be a fresh pair of eyes and ears in this nation. At a time where it seems as if so much is going wrong it is important that we look at things from both sides and vote with our hearts not our parties.

I am interested in seeing how Kagan votes on the issues that will face her. So many times we see justices looking to make the politicians that got them there happy. I hope that she will continue to make decisions based on the law and nothing else.

Gender is not the issue here. The issue has to be, “is this person qualified for this position?” While I have heard a lot of answers to that question I think that it is important to note her vast experience. She is a well rounded candidate that has fully earned the privilege of her newly appointed position.

While I am sure that she is a wonderful teacher I have concerns as to her ability to make non bias decisions. It seems as if she has vast knowledge but a limited number of years making actual rulings on real issues. She is book smart but does she have what it takes to make the real decisions?
